When Two Subjects joined by “Either
–or “ “Neither- Nor” are of the different persons, the verb agrees in person
with the one nearest to it.
Example
1: Neither he nor we are angry
2: Either You or he is mistaken.
1: Neither he nor we are angry
2: Either You or he is mistaken.
